This pivotal new role is responsible for leading and developing the strategic direction, execution, and optimization of all media analytics and operations functions to guide the performance of media across channels. Your ImpactDevelop and lead the creation of suit of insights that provide a comprehensive view of media performance. With support from analysts dotted-line to this role, include customer behavior, customer sentiment, profitability analysis, media mix modeling and more. Be the unbiased voice of truth for media performance for key partners from ELT to individual contributor. Proactively provide recommendations for increased investments and changes to media mix base on results. Establish a clear roadmap for leveraging data and tagging to optimize media investments, understand campaign performance, and inform strategic media planning.Lead a team of managers, analysts and specialists: Motivate, mentor, and guide a high-performing team responsible for data operations, forecasting, and insights generation.Lead the creation of robust insights & data infrastructure: Oversee the development and maintenance of performance marketing data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to effectively track and measure media performance across all channels.Conduct in-depth analysis of media data: Translate raw data into actionable insights, identify trends, and quantify the impact of media investments on key business objectives.Optimize media campaigns and budgets: Develop and implement data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, optimize channel allocation, and maximize return on investment (ROI).Partner with internal stakeholders: Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, digital and analytics teams to inform media investment and optimization, communicate insights, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously monitor emerging technologies, data analysis techniques, and best practices within the media analytics landscape keeping a keen eye on AI.Click here for benefit details related to this position.Minimum Salary: $138,000.00Maximum Salary: $195,825.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.QualificationsYour ExperienceBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Finance) or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in media analytics, media forecasting, media planning, marketing analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving data-driven results.Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and measurement methodologies across various channels including hands on experience in a media team (e.g., digital, social, TV, print).Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Looker).Proficient in statistical analysis and modeling techniques so that you can ask the right questions to drive better insights.Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills can effectively communicate complex insights to technical and non-technical audiences.Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and manage high-performing teams.Proven track record of building new teams or functions, and helping create new processes, measurement, and structure.
