To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. What You'll Do:
  • Play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating and executing potential acquisitions and investments for Fanatics Holdings and its business units (Fanatics Commerce, Collectibles, and Betting & Gaming)
  • Analyze market data and monitor relevant market trends including key competitors and industry developments
  • Lead M&A deal process from initial investment thesis, business case development, financial valuation, due diligence, negotiation, completion and integration
  • Develop financial and operating models to support valuation and business cases
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence process, including collaborating with business units and corporate subject matter experts (Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Legal, Tax, Treasury)
  • Partner with senior business leaders to ensure deals make strategic sense, the return on investment (ROI) is thoroughly analyzed, the target company fits with the forward-looking business plan, and the acquisition is integrated smoothly
  • Prepare presentations that highlight key findings, analysis, risk assessments and remediation plans for internal stakeholder discussion
  • Coordinate internal stakeholder alignment and issue resolution on transactions
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantitative or related field; MBA Preferred
  • 7-10+ years of Investment Banking and/or Private Equity experience with a demonstrated track record of end-to-end deal execution
  • Proactive self-starter with an ownership mindset; desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant exposure to senior leadership
  • Experience demonstrating critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation and modeling skills: must be experienced in deal concepts such as purchase price ratios, discounted cash flow, understand enterprise value vs. equity, capital structures, merger analysis, carve-outs, etc.
  • Ability to synthesize rigorous analysis and findings into executive-level decks to present business insights on potential M&A opportunities and strategic projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships across business units and subject matter experts
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $275,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
