SALARY: $151,200- $179,550, bonus, and long-term incentives

ROLE SUMMARY: Join Anheuser-Busch's internal Wholesaler Mergers & Acquisitions and strategy team that helps to shape the future of beverage distribution in the US.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and review sophisticated financial analyses of ownership changes within the A-B wholesaler network
- Review wholesaler acquisition and financing documents to ensure compliance with A-B Wholesaler Equity Agreement
- Lead transition of current and future A-B brands to A-B's preferred wholesaler system
- Lead and assist with M&A projects related to Anheuser-Busch's owned beverage distribution operations (AB One) -- works closely with AB One leadership, legal, tax and other functional teams to negotiate transactions, obtain senior management approvals, ensure transaction closing and support integration efforts
- Perform business valuations for prospective acquisitions and divestitures by A-B
- Participate in the negotiation and structuring of transactions involving privately held businesses
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Consistent track record of demonstrating strong project management capabilities, adeptly coordinating multidimensional tasks across departments, and delivering results that exceed expectations
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Industry-standard valuation methodologies for privately-held businesses
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
- Strong knowledge of the application of finance and accounting concepts
PEOPLE SKILLS:
- Self-starter with a proven ability to leverage networks and past experiences to creatively solve complex problems and navigate new situations with confidence and resourcefulness
- Proficient in fostering effective communication with external partners and business principals
- Ability to conduct diligence meetings with internal and external parties
- Ability to communicate finance concepts effectively with non-financial peers/managers and with our independent wholesalers
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Beer wholesale operations and the three-tier system
- Merger and acquisition deal structures
- Tax and accounting aspects of business combinations
- Current lending environment and practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field required; MBA with finance concentration strongly preferred
- Five or more years of analytical work experience and at least 3 years Investment Banking, Public Accounting, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Finance/Planning/Development
