Join us as the Director of Midstream in McKinney, TX, where you'll have the opportunity to shape and drive the strategic vision for our Midstream business. In this influential role, you'll lead a dedicated team to orchestrate new product development, forge impactful partnerships, and explore acquisitions that expand our market reach-all while fueling growth and profitability. You'll take the lead in generating customer-focused solutions, running an innovative product portfolio, and equipping our global sales team with the tools for success. As a champion of innovation and brand stewardship, you'll set a high standard for continuous improvement and elevate the complete customer experience across all facets of the business.**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will:**+ **Crafting a strategic roadmap** : Define and implement a visionary growth strategy for the business vertical that aligns with market trends and future needs.+ **Driving digital transformation and sustainability** : Lead initiatives that incorporate digital innovation and sustainability across our global Natural Gas business, setting us up for long-term success.+ **Identifying key market opportunities** : Guide the team in analyzing market segments and growth potential while staying ahead of emerging opportunities.+ **Collaborating cross-functionally** : Forge positive relationships with design, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, customer service, and global teams to align resources with strategic goals.+ **Elevating industry-leading solutions** : Improve our business offerings in close collaboration with Emerson Automation Solutions to deliver unmatched customer value.+ **Leading impactful marketing efforts** : Develop and implement promotional strategies that empower our sales force with tools to thrive in an omni-channel landscape.+ **Optimizing the product portfolio** : Lead our product lineup to meet sales and profitability targets while adapting to changing market demands.+ **Exploring strategic acquisitions** : Pursue growth through targeted acquisitions that expand our market reach and product capabilities.+ **Building a high-performing team** : Lead and mentor team members to become trusted advisors in the industry, encouraging expertise and customer trust.**Who You Are:**You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You build landmarks and symbols to rally support behind the vision.**For This Role, You Will Need:**+ Bachelor's degree+ 7-10+ years of progressive experience in sales or marketing, with a strong background of success+ 5+ years experience in the Process (Refining, Chemical) or Natural Gas industries (upstream, midstream, or downstream), or in sales/marketing of industrial automation equipment+ Experience with developing strategy, business development and market analysis+ Strong leadership, organization, and project management skills, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities+ Effective interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and organizational levels+ Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to turn new insights into actionable plans+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite+ Basic financial skill, including understanding of margin and P&L+ Ability to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally+ Legal Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, or ChE)+ Advanced degree in Marketing or Business+ Technical experience with Regulators, Valves, Pumps, gas flow meters or related products+ Prior experience working at Emerson**OUR OFFER TO YOU:**We recognize the importance of employee wellbeing and know that to do your best you must have flexible, competitive benefits plans to meet you and your family's physical, mental, financial, and social needs.
