Primary Functions: Leads a high-functioning team of risk placement professionals across the IAS Platform. The Director also fosters effective communication, information-sharing, and collaboration with Placement, Client Experience, and Sales Leadership across the platform. Ultimately, they lead placement nationally to bolster client adoption and retention.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Leads Risk Placement colleagues with focus on alignment around and communication of company goals, objectives and results.
- Acts as a culture carrier both internally and externally reinforcing our commitment to our colleagues, our clients, our insurance company and wholesale partners, our communities, and our shareholders.
- Coordinates with National Managing Director and Regional Managing Directors to align around ultimate placement structure and the steps and timeline to achievement.
- Drives the building of placement capabilities to alignment across the platform including establishing thresholds for new and renewal engagement, qualification expectations with Sales Leadership, providing conversion and technical support to Advisors and CE colleagues, coordination with national or local risk mapping teams, connectivity to COEs and Industry Practice Groups and seamless hand offs to client experience including roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Creates and communicate National placement expectations and best practices around submission standards, stewardship engagement, interaction with CE and Sales, and execution of National Insurance Company and Wholesale partner strategy to reinforce cultural alignment both internally and externally.
- Regularly communicates market trends and opportunities.
- Facilitates proper market access and access to capacity as needed while reinforcing market security standards.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of our value proposition and how we deliver it and educate others on the power it has in placement strategy.
- Support Business Insurance automation strategies to enable data collection, submission building, and market insights to drive superior client outcomes.
- Works with ICP Program leadership and project management to ensure operational support of insurance company coding, alignment, appointments, etc. is correct and scalable and overtime will allow for broadened access across the platform.
- Understands and drives the development of automated market intelligence and analytics to inform colleagues and drive improved client consultation and outcomes as well as insurance company partner negotiations.
- Ensure execution of national insurance company and wholesale partner strategy and alignment driving improved economic outcomes for Business Insurance.
- Executes on firm wide client segmentation strategies.

- 10+ years of Commercial insurance experience
- Comprehensive experience and thorough understanding in all areas of Commercial insurance
- Active license in Property/Casualty
- Commitment to educational development
- High School degree or GED equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Ability to work off hours as required; flexible work schedule
