Starting Salary: $71,004; Grade B-14

This position is open to the public and all current city employees covered under the City's Collective Bargaining Agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

Under general supervision, the class supervises staff in performing administrative functions for a small City department or moderate sized bureau in a city department; and performs related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Additional duties may be required for this position.
LOCATION: 3458 S. Lawndale
DAYS/HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration or directly related field, plus three years of budgetary, human resource or office administration experience of which one year is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

This position requires an applicant to successfully complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position based on the oral interview, will be selected according to the collective bargaining agreement.
