Job Type Full-time Description JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Undergraduate Admissions oversees the undergraduate admissions activities of the University and leads a team of counselors and administrative staff in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position reports to the Vice President of Enrollment. The Director works closely with the Offices of: Financial Aid, Marketing & Communication, Athletics, Registrar, Student Life (housing) and Student Success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Manage the undergraduate admissions/recruiting process, from lead generation to matriculation •Work aggressively toward the agreed-upon enrollment goals. •Execute the undergraduate tactical plan for enrollment and recruitment. •Speak publicly to individuals, families, and groups on campus. •Supervise, manage, and mentor the undergraduate admissions counselors and support staff. •Work with marketing and Vice President for Enrollment to execute admission communication plan. •Evaluate and execute undergraduate admissions decisions on applicants' files with consultation with Director of Academic Success. •Manage the undergraduate admissions budget. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Serve on Enrollment Management Board of Trustees Committee •Serve on Enrollment and Retention Committee •Chair, Admissions Staff Meetings Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: •Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in higher education administration or a related area. •Thee (3) or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in admissions. •Some experience with best practices in recruitment and use of Financial Aid as an enrollment strategy. •Some experience supervising and developing student workers and/or staff. •Some budget management experience.
