Job Summary The Director of Admissions Processing Operations manages the processing of admissions applications for campus-based and online programs. This position plays a critical role in meeting recruitment and retention goals through operating emerging technologies and leveraging technology investments to support Enrollment Management in admitting and enrolling a growing, diverse undergraduate and graduate student body. The position leads a large staff and manages several admissions and records technology systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage a professional, technical, and administrative staff of more than 40 for graduate and undergraduate admissions processing.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments for online program admissions, including strategic implementation of sustainable processes to meet online admissions goals.
  • Create continuous efficiencies through data analysis and assessment of processes.
  • Implementing of proactive strategies to adjust to changing environments and trends in application processing using best practices and current technological solutions.
  • Optimize the use of technology including the student information, imaging systems, Constituent Relationship Management, credit evaluation systems through continual review in partnership with Office of Information Technology.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance and admissions processing monitoring reports.
  • Compile production reports for review of efficiencies in processing.
  • Liaise with departments and provide training as appropriate.
  • Supervise revisions and updates for FTIC, Transfer, and Graduate application programs, such as ApplyTexas and the National Common Application.
  • Contribute to technological advances as a member of PeopleSoft (MyMav) Implementation Group. Serve on committees, lead special projects.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in admissions or in areas closely relevant to admissions.
  • Three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Experience with utilization of ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content (ImageNow), ApplyTexas, Common Application, and CRM - Slate.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of international admissions.
  • Understanding of the role of data and document management in decision making analysis or the equivalent experience.
