Arootah services include:

  • Providing expert advisors in key operational areas to emerging/established Investment firms
  • Coaching direct-to-consumer (executive and career coaching)
  • Advising clients with Capital Introduction and Raising for Emerging Managers
  • Investing in a portfolio of public and private companies that make a positive impact
  • Building SaaS applications for both enterprise and consumer use
  • Providing Talent Acquisition and Development services to the financial industry

What we are looking for:

The Director of Alternative Investment and Family Office Consulting Services will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our advisory services for hedge funds and family offices. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to enhance client relationships, drive business growth, and differentiate our offerings in the market. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hedge fund and family office landscape, coupled with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the advisory services division, aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the hedge fund and family office sectors, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business development within the hedge fund and family office market, including potential partnerships, alliances, and strategic initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting hedge funds and family offices, and leverage this knowledge to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of advisors and specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Expert Network Development: Grow and manage a network of advisors and subject matter experts in areas relevant to hedge fund and family office advisory services, ensuring access to specialized expertise as needed.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of advisory strategies, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hedge fund and family office advisory, with a proven track record of success in strategic planning and business development.
  • Deep knowledge of hedge fund and family office structures, investment strategies, and industry dynamics.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions.

  • The estimated base salary for this role is $160,000 – $200,000 with additional incentives including bonus and equity.
