POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of the Ambulatory Services is responsible for the operations, patient experience, clinical quality and overall functioning of the departments in the service line of their responsibility. In coordination with the COO, participates in developing strategies for successful operations and growth, creates operational plans, budgets and tactics for practices and services. Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the practices and to ensure financial strength, operating efficiency and provide services to the community. Develops and fosters collegial relationships with physicians, advance practice providers, and staff and ensures regulatory compliance.The Director Ambulatory Services includes oversight and management of the following:
- All of Hattiesburg Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
- Office Based Lab of Heart and Vascular
- Anesthesia Service Line
- Ancillary Services (Lab, Imaging, and Pathology)
- Pharmacy
- Facilities Management (Construction, Leases, Property Management)
- Patient Representatives Services
- Financial and Contract Agreements across various service lines in operations.
The Director of Ambulatory Services is responsible for the strategic success of each area of responsibility. Cooperatively, the Director, pursuant to the direction of its' Chief Operating Officer (COO) assures the propagation of Hattiesburg Clinic's mission statement which is to provide on an un-deterred basis quality health care in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with excellence and service to the patient. The Director of assigned service Line ensures value-based accountability of Hattiesburg Clinic, P.A. to its diverse constituent patient population, with empathetic concern and compassion. The exemplary care of our patients along life's continuum, allows our leadership to advance Hattiesburg Clinic's goal to be the health care provider of choice in the communities we serve.QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Business or Finance, required. CPA or FACMPE is preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a senior healthcare management position.WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00A.M. - 5:00P.M.Other details
