In this role, you will oversee a high-performing department, leading a skilled team capable of working with extensive datasets. By leveraging advanced statistical methods, innovative analytics, and strategic thinking, you will deliver actionable insights, tools, and solutions to drive business growth.As a key member of the game's leadership team, you will shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and foster a positive company culture. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior leadership to present impactful insights that inform critical decision-making.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Mentor Teams: Manage and mentor multiple analytics teams and their leaders, overseeing day-to-day operations, recruiting, training, and supporting the professional and personal development of team members.
  • Foster a High-Performance Culture: Promote a culture of excellence, motivation, creativity, proactivity, and urgency within the team.
  • Leverage Data and Technology: Utilize large datasets and cutting-edge technologies to uncover patterns and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Ensure the department consistently produces high-quality analyses, models, insights, tools, and solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Plan and Manage AB Testing: Oversee the end-to-end planning, methodology, tools, roadmap, and execution of AB testing initiatives.
  • Innovate and Optimize: Explore and adopt new methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance the department's capabilities and performance.
  • Improve Player Experience: Develop and validate complex statistical models and segmentations to enhance the player experience.
  • Monitor KPIs: Continuously monitor product KPIs, providing real-time insights and recommendations to the monetization team to ensure product health.
  • Lead Data-Driven Discussions: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly data-driven meetings with stakeholders, including senior management, to align on goals and performance.
  • Create Reports and Tools: Design and maintain reports, custom tools, and automation processes, proactively identifying and addressing gaps in data knowledge or accessibility.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers across departments, including Data Science, BI Development, Data Engineering, Finance, VIP, and Marketing.Qualifications
    • 7+ years of practical analytic experience in online/marketing/big data environments - mandatory; genuine interest in Mobile gaming - a major advantage
    • 4+ years of group/department management experience
    • Genuine interest in Mobile Gaming
    • Strong SQL experience, along with a solid understanding and experience with relational DB and big-data environments
    • Excellent proficiency in Excel and BI tools; Tableau - advantage
    • Strong understanding of statistical significance, models, and tools; hands-on experience with Python/R - mandatory
    • Strong sense of conflict management, leadership, responsibility, and professionalism
    • Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and critical, business, strategic, problem-solving thinking, along with oral and written communication skills
    • An exceptional approach to data and the ability to take a business question, define the analysis method, and deliver a high-level output and present it in a sharp and concise way
    • Self-learner, multi-tasking, able to work independently, with initiative, highly organized, and a can-do approach
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related fieldWe are SciPlay!
