*DIRECTOR OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH* *Horizon Health* is seeking a *Program Director* to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at Mercy Hospital in *Ada, Oklahoma*. This unit is a 20 bed geriatric inpatient psych unit. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development. *Responsibilities:* • Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; communicating information and needs appropriately • Supports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectives • Provides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelines • Provides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staff • Develops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the Program • In coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies' regulations and standards • Participates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patient • Supervises all patient care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progress • Develops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patient's care • Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program. • Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs *Benefit Highlights:* • Competitive Compensation • Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Plan • 401(K) with company match and discounted stock plan • Long and Short-term Disability • Flexible Spending Accounts; Healthcare Savings Account • Life Insurance • Career development opportunities within the company • Tuition Assistance Rewarding work environment - Enjoy going to work everyday! *Requirements:* • Graduate Degree • CPR Certification • Minimum 5 years of experience preferred • Experience in an acute care mental health setting required *EOE* *To Submit Your Resume, Please Click APPLY NOW * Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insuranceEducation: * Master's (Preferred) Experience: * acute care mental health: 1 year (Preferred) * previous/similar: 5 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * CPR Certification (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Del City, OK: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
