OverviewReporting to the Chief HR Officer, the Director of Benefits sits on the HR Leadership Team and is responsible for ensuring the organization is fostering a culture of whole employee wellbeing throughout Konica Minolta Business Solutions in the US. The Director of Benefits will develop, implement and administer KMBS' benefits programs, policies, and procedures and ensure programs meet business and employee needs, are compliant with all fiduciary requirements, and are in line with market best practices and trends.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, evaluates and executes on tailored benefit strategies to promote equitable and competitive employee programs and policies. Manages and develops a team of benefits professionals to implement and activate benefits programs across the diverse KM employee base.Leads a group of outsourced benefits administration providers to ensure a world class employee experience.Financial oversight of approximately $100M in benefits program expenses.Plan Administrator for the Konica Minolta 401(k) Plan with significant assets. Directs the annual plan audit and filing of Form 5500 in accordance with all applicable regulations.Member of the governance committees with fiduciary responsibility for all plans.Assesses vendor relationships and partners with procurement, our benefits brokers, and investment consultants to maximize offerings and negotiate covered services and costs with carriers.Oversees annual benefits open enrollment process including project planning, participant communication, benefit system administration, and continuous improvement. Ensures plan compliance with Federal and State laws, including, but not limited to Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Utilizes data on industry standards/practices to communicate impactful insights on the positioning of KMBS' benefit programs.Partners with Finance, DEI and other departments to meet shared goals.Collaborates with Canada HR on programs of mutual benefit and interest.Enhances operations with continuous improvement.Participates in due diligence and integration of acquisitions, as needed.
