An exciting and challenging position exists as a full-time Director of Brand Marketing for Matco. You will be responsible for setting the overall strategy for the brand, including the development and execution of marketing plans and initiatives that will drive significant growth. This position is part of a dynamic and nimble team that owns consumer insight development and validation, brand strategy, and execution across product, communications, and innovation. This role will require deep consumer empathy and insights, analytical evaluation of opportunities, hands-on management of a team, as well as multiple projects in various stages of development. In addition, this role requires strong communication skills, as you will partner with multiple stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports.Day to day, you will be responsible for building and executing the annual brand plans, conducting market and business analysis, budgeting, identifying and leading insights for new product launches, and identifying channel, format, and product opportunities. This position provides leadership to and works closely with all other departments in the company, including other marketing functions, Sales, Operations, and Finance.WHAT YOU WILL DODevelop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies as part of Matco Tools that align with the company's objectives and goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, supply chain, and procurement to ensure brand consistency and plan execution across all channels.Manage and oversee the brand's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.Manage product portfolio ensuring sub-brands are delivering against revenue and margin targets.Lead Innovation pipeline development and drive 3-5-year innovation calendar development to include annual launch plan and execution.Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including digital, social media, PR, events, and advertising.Develop and maintain relationships with media partners, vendors, and agencies to ensure the brand's message is delivered effectively and efficiently.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.Monitor and analyze brand health and performance metrics to continually optimize and improve marketing initiatives.Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.Analyze market trends and customer insights to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.Lead and inspire integrated brand communications and insight teams.
