A client based in New York is hiring for a Director of Brand Strategy. This person will be responsible for overseeing the brand strategy, planning, development, execution and coordination of marketing campaigns to build and sustain various show brands throughout their multi-platform lifecycle. This role will lead the development and launch of innovative consumer efforts across a diverse range of priority programming, spanning unscripted, late night, live events & specials. This role is a key member of the Brand Marketing team, driving brand strategy, ideating concepts and spearheading execution of all initiatives, including social/digital activations, press-generating stunts, strategic partnerships and promotions, and consumer facing events and experiences. This person will need to sit in New York, NY 3x a week. Required Skills & Experience * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum 8 years marketing and/or advertising experience, preferably at an agency or television environment * Willingness to travel and work nontraditional hours including weekends/evenings * Must be willing to work in New York * Strong attention to detail in an environment that requires extensive multi-tasking and multiple deadlines * Ability to effectively manage, stimulate and encourage professional growth among managerial staff. * Management of cross-functional relationships and collaboration in a creative, team-oriented environment * Creative thinker, can both concept and help advance innovative and creative ideas * Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, can simultaneously be strategic and keep pace in a quickly moving and ever-changing environment * Cross-functional leader who is able to engage, motivate, and collaborate with internal teams across every phase of a campaign Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
