Praescient Analytics is seeking a Director of Business Development and Strategy for the Defense and Federal Civilian market. You will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of business development and capture management for strategic opportunities. Initiate and develop the formation of strategic partnerships to win major opportunities and/or strategically grow the business and provide long term strategic planning and growth of DoD and Federal Civilian sales. You will work heavily with and impact every aspect of the Department of Defense and the Federal community. This position can be supported remotely with some travel requirements.Praescient Analytics, LLC is a Veteran-led, certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) founded in 2011 which specializes in implementing advanced analytics solutions across the defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities.Primary Responsibilities:Develop, build, maintain and win a robust Federal pipeline to help achieve company growth objectives.Lead opportunity captures, including developing overall win strategy; shaping deals with customers; developing teaming strategies, identifying, and closing with teammates; supporting proposal artifact development; and understanding pricing and assist in developing winning price.Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities aligned to specific customers in the Federal Civilian and Defense community.Support creation and execution of multi-year business development strategies.Work closely with the Proposal Management team for supporting technical reviews of opportunities and help determine feasibility, experience, and past performance.Support proposal development, pricing and talent acquisition activities.Build Trusted and Valued Relationships: Proactively meeting with executive-level government leadership and partner leadership, adding value by identification of business opportunities for the customer/partner, conveying a firm understanding of the customer's/partner's business and political drivers, displaying executive presence by building rapport and credibility; clearly connecting solutions to business needs.Required Qualifications:Requires 10 - 15 years of IT and professional services Federal / DoD Business Development (BD) and Capture experience, and support across Federal business development lifecycle, including proposal-related support.Bachelor's degree required (may be substituted for additional experience).Demonstrated experience building, growing, and winning a pipeline of Federal business.Demonstrated success in leading and winning Federal government contracts.Demonstrated understanding of bringing IT/professional services to Federal Civilian / DoD agencies, including current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors.Face-to-face experience identifying and developing positive relationships with key customer and teaming contacts, to understand customer and partner business drivers.Experience using business development tools such as GovWin, eBuy, SAM, APFS, FPDS, etc.Excellent writing, editing, communication, and research skills.Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Active Security ClearanceMasters Degree from an accredited universityPMP (Project Management Professional) certificationWhat You Can Expect From Us:Real opportunity for career growth in an environment where your achievements will be celebrated.Constant collaboration with numerous teams to ensure client success.A team that respects and embraces your ideas and expertise.Coworkers that are motivated by pursuing excellence, rather than the prospect of personal gain.A workplace dedicated to supporting and bettering public safety and government agencies.Benefits:Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Comprehensive, Company paid healthcare for you (We pay your premiums and deductibles).401(k) with company matching.Travel & performance incentives.3 weeks paid time off (plus Federal Holidays).$5K annual training allowance.$500 book allowance.Tuition reimbursement program.Praescient Analytics is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
