About the Role

MZ Wallace is seeking a dynamic and driven leader to join our team as Director of Business Development & Growth Strategy. This role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channelsto drive revenue growth and market expansion domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and growth strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, pursue, and negotiate strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Generate and optimize a robust pipeline of sales and growth initiatives, including new sales channels, market expansion, and strategic retail partnerships that align with brand strategy.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify markets, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand distribution into new markets, both domestic and international.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams to appropriately support new initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience within fashion or luxury retail preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A passionate team player capable of working independently at all levels.
  • Experience in international business and cross-cultural collaboration preferred.
