Arcturus Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and enhance our market presence in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the business development team, creating and implementing strategic plans to meet or exceed census goals.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute regional sales strategies that support market growth and advance Arcturus Hospice's mission.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives to increase market share and foster growth.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  • Analyze demographic trends in current and future markets to optimize business development efforts.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing business development talent, ensuring the team is equipped to drive local census growth.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and field support to the business development team, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
  • Monitor the use of lead tracking systems and compile data to improve conversion ratios and sales outcomes.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare or hospice industry.
  • Commitment to serving patients and their loved ones and enthusiasm for delivering quality care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Familiarity with demographic analysis and market trends.
  • Experience in designing and executing sales strategies, advertising campaigns, and public relations initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive organizational goals.

Local travel to hospitals, physician offices, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, and the home setting is necessary. You will be compensated for this travel.
