In 2022, Elite finished its year with $73 million in sales and was again recognized as being one of the top 20 suppliers to the military commissaries and exchanges.Job Overview:Elite Brands is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead new business recruitment initiatives, with the potential for growth into a key HQ Sales role. - New Vendor Partner Recruitment:
- Drive the recruitment of new vendor partners, focusing on both Exchange and Commissary markets.
- Evaluate opportunities to ensure alignment with company goals and assess the overall impact on the business.
- DeCA HQ Presentation:
- Prepare and participate in presentations to DeCA HQ, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure success.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Interface with Sales and Marketing departments to align strategies and objectives.
- Elite Brands Business Model:
- Learn and apply the Elite Brands buy/sell business model.
- Master tools such as SDS, Tableau, EOS, and others essential to the role.
Capabilities & Experience:
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Strong knowledge of market share data, with experience in IRI or Nielsen.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is required.
- Experience in the grocery industry, either in Retail or Military sectors, is preferred.
