Job Description:

This managerial role will lead a team to uncover potential avenues for growth through planned community events and by identifying key partnerships that position DATCU as a trusted leader in the financial industry. The position will create and monitor key performance indicators and be held accountable to standards for growth including opened accounts and product sales. Develops professional relationships through outreach in the community and serves as DATCU's liaison. Organizes and directs the Community relations team and the Business Development aspects of Branch Managers ensuring that outreach efforts are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the Credit Union. Develops policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective Business Development operations. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate personnel and ensures that all Business Development and community activities are performed professionally. Will be involved in and help plan programs promoting good will and fostering business relationships, while extending and enhancing DATCU's corporate citizenships efforts and brand through community and employee group outreach and academic initiatives. Ensures that members and prospective members are promptly and professionally served. Provides general Credit Union information and actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. This position has the potential for remote work based on management discretion.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

* Thorough knowledge and understanding of Credit Union services and products.

* Strong background in financial marketing, sales, and promotion techniques.

* Seven to ten years of related progressive experience, preferably in a financial environment.

* Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others.

* Professional appearance, dress, and attitude with exceptional member service skills.

* Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.

* Strong interpersonal and supervisory abilities.

* Organizational and analytical skills
