Director of Catering (Restaurant Industry)

Location: Greater Tampa, FL Area

Salary: $75,000-$90,000 + Commission Plan Eligible

Our client, a full-service restaurant concept, seeks a Director of Catering to lead develop, and drive our catering and group sales initiatives throughout our brand. The Director of Catering will oversee a team while strategically creating and identifying new ways for the brand to expand our catering and group sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with selecting appropriate tools and creating programs, all while identifying areas of opportunities with solutions to generate sales. The Director of Catering will develop new ways to increase both off-site and nontraditional presence that drives sales. Reviewing the data and creating new metrics, the Director of Catering will analyze this information to set goals and create best practices and procedures that will continue to position this brand as a catering restaurant of choice for personal and professional purposes.

Director of Catering Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• 10+ years working in a catering/group sales capacity
• 5+ years working in a Catering/Group Sales/Sales leadership role (5 or more sales-focused team members)
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and driving the catering/group sales function in the restaurant industry (multi-state experience is required)
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, based on the needs of the business
