Job Description:

The Director of Sales is pivotal in driving the growth of our catering and hospitality business. This role requires a dynamic leader who is not only passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for our clients but also about actively selling and attending events. A strong track record in sales and business development within the catering and hospitality industry is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales, Events & Business Development: Develop, sell, and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets. Actively participate in the events sold, ensuring client satisfaction and brand representation.

2. Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations surpassed.

3. Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor offerings, and potential areas of investment or improvement.

4. Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring they have the tools and training necessary to succeed.

5. Event and Kitchen Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning, operations teams, kitchen staff, and chefs to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Facilitate open communication between sales and culinary teams to align on client needs and menu offerings.

6. Reporting: Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, highlighting successes, areas of improvement, and market analysis.

7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring all sales activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.

8. Brand Ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, actively promoting our offerings and strengthening the brand.

9. Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform service improvements and new offerings.

10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the catering and hospitality industry.

Qualifications

Must have at least 5 years sales experience working in the hospitality, events business in the Dallas Metro Area Market.
