As the Director of Children and Families Community Services, you will oversee our in-home and community based programs for coed children/adolescents from birth to twenty-one (21) years old and their parents of all ages.
This position will provide clinical support and leadership to staff within their purview. Ensures that the highest quality of service is provided to our clients and in accordance with both Agency standards and funding source standards. Provides administrative support in areas of budgeting, staff compliance including trainings, and reporting regulations. To care for employees, care for consumers and assist the CEO, COO and their Vice President in the aggressive successful growth of the Agency. The Director reports to the Vice President of Children and Families Community Services.
Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday; On-call responsibilities as needed

Ability to effectively teach strategies/interventions to deal with difficult behavior. Ability to build a positive work environment by fostering collaboration and communication among staff. Ability to coach for effective performance and time management while giving timely and constructive feedback. Computer skills including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
* Assists in recruiting, training, and developing a highly motivated and effective team.
* Works with the VP to develop financial plans and implement at the program level.
* Works with the VP to explore and coordinate available RFP's related to growth and development of children and family services.
* Provides guidance, leadership and coaching to Program Supervisors and employees.
* Communicates changes in regulations, policies and procedures.
* Conducts meetings, at least monthly, with program staff and provides individual supervision as needed.
* Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with funding source representatives and other community representatives.
* Must cooperate with all investigations, internal/external.
* Be available and responsible for program functioning in the absence of a Program Supervisor.
* Be available for emergency situations on a 24 -hour basis via cell phone.

Qualifications:
* Master's degree (MA, MS, MSW) in the social work or related service field required;
* Ten (10) years experience preferably in home-based settings with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity;
* Valid Driver's License required.
