The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and execution of all clinical programs. This position will create key performance indicators for programs and ensure that managers are working towards their programmatic goals. The Director of Clinical Operations will provide administrative oversight and assistance to the Executive Director, Chief Advancement Officer and Director of HR and Fiscal Management and Director of Programming. They will help ensure that new programs and their policies are being implemented in accordance to the 'LICADD' standard. This position will be the representative for the clinical team to steward new grants, represent the agency and promote agency business to the community. Primary Responsibilities: •Provides administrative oversight to the daily operations of all clinical programs. •Oversee the development and implementation of new client-facing programs. •Oversee programs to ensure that client service goals, financial goals, and grant deliverables are met. •Implement milestones/KPI's for new programs/ funding requests and create action plans for programmatic goals. •Provide direct supervision to Director of Programming including but not limited to weekly supervision, performance evaluations, administrative duties. •Conduct an analysis of quarterly reports to ensure timeliness of reports to our grantors and internal quality assurance. •Oversee the coordination of clinical managers and staff; are promoting LICADD programs to various outlets including but not limited to; community coalitions, prevention coalitions and provider relations. •Represent the agency to vendors, news media, and agency partners. •Make regular assessment of agency programs with regards to LICADD's mission. Conduct needs assessments for agency objectives and organizational strategic plan as needed. •Participate in grant writing process to provide programmatic and clinical insight. •Ensure a firm grasp of all clinical operations; be able to conduct programmatic evaluations and assessments as needed. •Renewal of EAP Contracts and reporting required with individual contractor (ie. Utilization reports) •Assist with Claims on an as needed basis for County, Federal, Local Grantors. •Organize the departments compliance with LICADD's Employee Handbook, and all Code of Ethics and standards that are provided by the NASW and AMHCA. •Collaborate with the Executive Director regarding program outcomes. Secondary Responsibilities: •Maintain and analyze program data and reporting systems for all grant funded programs. •Work with HR to monitor and run payroll bi-weekly. •Oversee/ approve quotes and invoices, vouchers and assist with negotiating contracts with schools and agencies. •Maintain a very limited caseload of clients. •Oversees the operations of the 24-Hour Substance Use Hotline •Holds 24-Hour Substance Use Hotline on a rotating basis with clinical staff. •Peripherally, provide supervision to the EAP Supervisor, Education & Training Supervisor and Clinical Services Manager, including but not limited to monthly supervision. •Fulfills duties or tasks assigned by the Executive Director. Qualifications and Skills: •LCSW or LMHC or equivalent for NYS- required. (Must be a qualified health professional.) •Minimum of 7 years' experience with demonstrated competency in providing outpatient mental health treatment modalities, alcohol and/or chemical dependency treatment, brief assessment and referral, and private psychotherapy practice. •Minimum of 7 years' experience in clinical operations leadership role; providing supervision and training of new staff. •Minimum of 7 years of managerial experience. •Experience in clinical operations/ program design and implementation including desktop procedures, workflows, and oversight to ensure ongoing application of content required •Experience working at a director level, with a successful track record of implementing new programs and initiatives - preferred. •Experience in successfully writing and managing program policies, procedures and materials- preferred. •Time management, detail oriented and problem solving. •Personable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative. •Excellent communication skills- Written and Oral. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Supervisor: Executive Director Oversees: Director of Programming Oversees on a secondary basis: Clinical Services Manager, EAP Supervisor, Education Program Supervisor Travel: Traveling will be required for this position. LICADD utilizes IRS standard business mileage reimbursement rates to reimburse employees.
