Position Summary The Director of Operations will support, manage, and direct organization initiatives, including delivery of the highest quality services, while assuring corporate mission, vision, and values are met. Responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and monitoring all operational aspects of assigned departments, providing effective leadership to staff and oversight of the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient-centered care. Leads assigned departments in a manner that aligns with the organizational objectives related to staffing, employee development, performance management, patient experience, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, regulatory compliance, safety and security. Ensures compliance with HRSA and NCQA PCMH standards. Interacts with community organizations and other partners to promote the organization and its mission, vision and values. Has a collaborative working relationship with other leaders across all levels of the organization. Understands the need to integrate disciplines across the organization to maximize the patient experience and create efficiencies of patient/family centric care. Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of budget, policies, plans, programs, and proposals that will further the goals and objectives stated in the 330 grant application and HRSA program expectations.
- Drive organizational results by working closely with all team members to maximize access to care, quality, efficiency, and favorable financial results.
- Lead operations staff and processes in a manner to ensure the highest level of service excellence.
- Work closely with key leaders to achieve organizational goals through maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes.
- Work closely with key leaders to achieve organizational financial goals through excellent performance of associated front office functions and maximization of the revenue cycle process.
- Provide operational support for the delivery of patient services such as (but not limited to) Medical care, Pharmacy, lab, and capital projects.
- Provide guidance and oversee the implementation of new programming related to improved clinical care and enhanced health outcomes.
- Work with Senior Leaders in effective management of capital projects.
- Monitor key financial and operations metrics- recommend and implement actions required to meet organizational goals.
- Modeling and advancement of HCHC's mission, vision, and values.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships via effective communication and collaboration with HCHC Leadership, staff, stakeholders, and business contacts
- Directly supervises and establishes accountabilities, provides performance feedback and conducts annual performance evaluations for managers, with input for relevant support staff. Provides counsel to managers in disciplinary matters with assistance from HR for corrective actions and/or terminations
- Oversees the orientation and clinical training of newly hired providers within the organization.
- Collaborates with providers and CMO to support providers in establishing a successful practice
- Attends routine operational leadership meetings and problem solves jointly with leadership from all levels of the organization
- Responsible for developing and updating ongoing reporting requirements for the Board of Directors, and other outside entities to share required clinical performance updates are requested.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in the field of healthcare services or business management with five or more years of health care management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Strong project management, organization, and analytical skills
Physical Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This is a moderately active role, which requires the ability to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds, bending and standing as necessary.
- Must be able to lift, carry and handle equipment, supplies and other work site materials based on position duty requirements.
- The ability to speak, read and write in English is necessary.
- Possesses speaking function adequate for performing essential job functions, such as clearly communicating to patients, providers, nursing staff and vendors.
