About the Role:
One of our top clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as Director of Clinical Services. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical operations within our home care agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care, a deep understanding of clinical best practices, and a passion for providing high-quality care to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Oversee the clinical care provided to all patients, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular chart audits and performance reviews to ensure quality of care.
- Supervise and mentor a team of clinicians, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs).
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Business Development:
- Assist with the development and implementation of business strategies to grow the agency.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including private pay and Medicaid clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
- Manage the agency's budget and ensure financial viability.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards.
- Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications.
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participate in agency committees and meetings.
- Assist with marketing and community outreach efforts.
- Represent the agency at community events.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unencumbered license in the State of Georgia.
- Significant experience in home care, including experience with private pay clients.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid qualifications and regulations.
- Proficiency in pediatric and geriatric care.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Supervisory experience in a home care setting
