Responsibilities Arrowhead Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Clinical Services to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio. We serve adult patients 18 years of age and older that need mental health and chemical dependency services. Inpatient offerings include treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management and stabilization as well as mental health crisis management. Our outpatient services extend the continuum of care to include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs which allow patients to develop and utilize proper coping mechanisms to help establish a foundation for life. Additionally, we offer a Relapse Prevention Program along with a Medication Administration Program to support patients in maintaining lifelong sobriety. Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment programs. The Director of Clinical Services leads recreation therapy, inpatient and outpatient therapists, social workers, volunteers, and various contracted services. The Director of Clinical Services recruits, trains, and mentors staff members in an effort to develop staff, improved teamwork, morale, and quality metrics. Services include:
  • Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Services
  • Inpatient Substance Abuse and Detoxification Treatment
  • Inpatient Dual Diagnosis (Co-occurrence of mental illness with substance abuse)
  • Suboxone Induction and Maintenance (for Opiate Dependence)
  • Outpatient Treatment •Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) •Mental Health •Chemical Dependency •Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
  • Relapse Prevention (Aftercare)
  • Impaired Practitioners Program

Qualifications Education : Graduate of an accredited school of social work; master's degree required. (MSW) Experience : Minimum of five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice. License: Appropriate state licensure in mental health. Preference will be given to candidates holding a LSW licensure or greater (LISW or LISW-S). Additional Requirements : A strong knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support staff and patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
