We are seeking a dynamic Director of Cloud Networking to lead our cloud technology initiatives, with a solid focus on Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) . This role is crucial in driving the strategic direction, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure and services that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable, providing a robust infrastructure to support our customer-facing environments and productsYou'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and evolve our cloud network services strategy, including the development of migration plans, cost optimization strategies, security protocols, and scalability measures across GCP, AWS, and Azure platformsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for cloud network governance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving the implementation of solutions across GCP, AWS, and AzureOversee the enforcement of corporate security policies related to cloud network services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirementsAnalyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud services, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency across GCP, AWS, and Azure environmentsLead the review and analysis of cloud-related budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring effective resource utilizationProvide architectural guidance for cloud environments, ensuring high reliability and reduced downtime across test and production systemsEngage with key stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable cloud solutions, and providing regular updates and progress reports to leadershipMentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and excellenceYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Certifications in one of GCP, AWS, and Azure (eg, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect5+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud services5+ years of experience managing and implementing solutions across multiple cloud platformsPreferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldDeep understanding of SOC2, HIPAA, and PIPEDA certifications, as well as security frameworks like NISTProven solid leadership and communication skills, with a history of successfully driving change in cloud operationsProven customer-focused with a high level of motivation and the ability to absorb and retain information quicklyProven exceptional problem-solving skills with a mature, professional approach to workAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
