- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the commercial market.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers, including contractors, developers, architects, and building owners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our market presence and increase market share.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop effective sales tools, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements related to commercial distribution.
Minimum Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial sales within the HVAC distribution industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of HVAC products, applications, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
