Key Accountabilities
- Lead the corporate communications strategy:
o Create and execute communications plans and deliverables for the enterprise to include: press releases, webpages, newsletters, internal team messaging, powerpoint decks, company briefings/events and other areas as neededo Act as our corporate storyteller—highlighting how our culture, history and track record differentiate us as an employer, acquisition partner, and organizationo Cultivate, create and publish newsworthy stories, videos and more across our portfolio of companieso Working cross-departmentally, help design and create internal communications to report on business results, goals, and progress on major initiatives.o Conduct interviews, and lead any PR related activities
- Lead brand content development and implementation
o Develop updated brand messaging across brands ensuring considerations around traditional online search, AI search, customer experience and consistency across mediums. o Be the center point for copy across mediums as a resource for creation, collaboration or final reviewo Work closely with Marketing and cross-functionally to ensure message alignment and qualityo Help develop campaigns and calls to action that drive resultso Customer service and sales script writing
- Customer/consumer research and market research and reporting
- Assistance creating pitch decks or board decks in PowerPoint
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
Desired Competencies
- Exceptional communication skills across written, oral and digital media
o Experience working with website design and enhancemento Solid understanding of SEO, AI generated content, video production, social media, PowerPoint, and other core communication/marketing toolso Experience with email marketing, promotional offers and successful CTA strategieso Experience dealing with media relations
- Strategic thinker that can create a vision for multi-year communications plans
- Strong collaborative/influencing skills and EQ to navigate conflicting internal stakeholder agendas, able to comfortably engage across the enterprise: from Field Operations, C-Suite, to the Board of Directors
- Creative and solution seeking approach that takes into account competing priorities and helps stakeholders realize your vision and find alignment
- Baseline project management skills to keep initiatives on track and on budget
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple priorities while moving with the speed of the business
- Ability to quickly understand industry, consumers, competitors, and other dynamics
- Operates with strategic thinking but also capable and energized to personally execute
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University; preferably in Communications, English, Writing, Public Relations, or Marketing
- MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
- 6-10 years of experience in a Corporate Communications role
