Job Summary The director provides oversight to the fiscal, quality assurance and improvement, and regulatory standards of TASK (Treatment Alternatives for Sexualized Kids) and Intensive In-Home Services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Specific duties and responsibilities: Leadership
  • Maintain effective and cooperative relationships with staff to ensure successful implementation of agency mission
  • Ensure that all aspects of TASK and IIH programs meet or exceed the appropriate standards of state and federal licensing and accreditation standards
  • Set key performance indicators that reflect the organizational strategic plan and assure monitoring and reporting of set goals
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic plans for programs
Supervision
  • Directly supervise staff, including Senior Clinicians in TASK and IIH Team Leads. Craft annual development plans for supervisees
  • Oversee on-boarding for new hires
  • Complete individual annual performance appraisals for all direct reports, and provide monthly face to face supervision
  • Conduct individual staff performance discussions, and draft corrective action plans for staff not meeting job performance expectations
  • Develop clinical consultation structure for programs
Administration
  • Analyze monthly financial statements. Ensure programs operate within budget and spending policy
  • Establish and maintain partnerships in the community with child welfare agencies, schools, department of juvenile justice, philanthropic organizations, and other human service organizations
  • When applicable supervise the implementation of service delivery schedules, quality assurance/improvement plans, plans of correction, peer review schedules, and program strengthening plans
  • Assess customer satisfaction from external stakeholders
  • Set, and maintain program utilization goals
  • Create and maintain program manuals, workflows, and business processes for all aspects of operation, including clinical documentation improvement plans
  • Ensure programs administer standardized assessments and screening tools
  • Lead a culture of measurement-based care
  • Ensure programs document service delivery in electronic health record
  • Use program performance dashboards to drive program improvement, lead a data-driven decision-making culture
Supervision responsibilities: This position supervises Senior Clinicians in TASK and IIH Team Leads. This position is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of reporting employees in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Core Competency: Supervisors Supervisors will complete 100% of direct reports evaluations on time (within 30 days of the effective date of evaluation) and will have no old evaluations outstanding to meet expectations. Supervisors that supervise second level reports will also need to have 85% of any indirect reports completed on time to meet expectations.
  • Measurement: Review of evaluations due during the review period and whether they were completed on time.

RequirementsEducation and Experience Requirements
  • The position requires a Master's Degree in a Human Service or related field plus 5+ years of experience with target populations. The position requires a valid NC licensure (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC).
  • Requires knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services.
  • Requires effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professional skills.
  • Previous experience as a clinical manager, or healthcare administrator preferred.
  • Applicants with an MBA and work experience in a healthcare setting will be considered on an individual basis.

  • Employee must be able to operate a vehicle for job duties, and keep a valid NC drivers license with insurance.
  • The work environment will contain slight to moderate office-related noises. The employee is not exposed to extreme weather conditions, toxic fumes, or airborne particles.
  • The employee must occasionally travel to different locations in the course of work.
  • Physical functions which are considered essential to the satisfactory performance of the job include the following: public speaking, reading, typing, writing, using the telephone, driving, therapeutically restraining children and adolescents in crisis situations.
Salary Description $85,000-95,000
