AbleLight is currently hiring a Director of Community Engagement in St. Louis, MO.

In this position, the Director will spearhead efforts across all markets to foster strong relationships and collaboration between AbleLight and local agencies, organizations, professional groups that provide and direct supports, services, funding, and case management to individuals with developmental disabilities at their state level. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual who can design, implement, and oversee engagement initiatives that spread our Vision, Mission, Values with the community and drive growth of our mission.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work highly preferred
- 7+ years prior experience in establishing mutually beneficial relationships that support the organization's mission.
- Prior leadership experience across a multi-state multi-site organization essential.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships both internally and externally that drive mission growth critical.
- Consistently in the market and communities we support based up organizational and stakeholder needs.

- Design, develop, implement, and lead community engagement strategy and execution efforts that align to our Mission.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local agencies, organizations, and professional groups that provide and direct support, services, funding, and case management to increase mission growth.
- Close productive collaboration with internal team members in addition to the key external stakeholders identified.
