Our client are a leading high end, custom residential remodeling firm focused on North Columbus properties.
They are looking for a Director of Construction to run their entire construction operations. Here's a little more about the role:
- Run 4 to 10 jobs at anyone time, ranging between $100K - $250K
- Manage a team of Project Managers and Superintendents
- Work with the PMs to organize the subcontractor base
- Liaise with Design and the customer to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop and implement construction strategies that ensure the constant flow of new business
- Responsible for ensure the jobs are delivered within budget
What our client are looking for:
- Extensive construction experience, preferably in the residential market but open to multifamily or commercial.
- Role would suit a Senior PM or Project Executive from a larger company, or something in a leadership role in an SME.
- An understanding of Columbus inspection regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
