Director of Consumer Lending

JCW Search is partnered with an LA based bank looking to bring on a Director of Consumer Lending. This position will focus on the banks consumer loans (Auto, personal loans, credit cards, etc.) An ideal candidate will have worked in a consumer lending leadership position and be able to review and make strategic changes to the banks lending processes.

Day to day you will:

• Manage a team of lenders and loan operations specialists
• Manage the consumer team's loan review, underwriting and escalations
• Provide strategic oversight for the teams processes and work to create efficiency

To be successful you should have:

• 12+ years of experience in consumer lending with increasing responsibilities
• 5+ years of experience in a team management role
• Experience in process improvements and creating operational excellence
