We have more than 275 employees and offices in Stamford, New York, Hong Kong, London, and San Francisco.LOCATION: 660 Fifth Avenue, New York, NYJOB FUNCTIONThe Director of Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and executing Viking's communications and branding strategies globally. The individual will report to the Head of Strategic Initiatives and will partner with experienced managers across various functions to consistently communicate the firm's work and values to both internal and external audiences across multiple channels.Responsibilities may include, though are not limited to:
- Developing and executing a consistent global communication and branding strategy that meets the needs of each function (e.g., Investor Relations, Recruiting, Investment Staff) and advances the goals of our organization.
- Exploring and reimagining potential avenues of engagement with the public, including developing multi-channel marketing communications utilizing digital content, social media, press relations, conference speaking, etc.
- Partnering with functional managers to write and edit content on behalf of the firm, including emails, talking points, speeches, video content, investor letters, recruiting materials and website content.
- Reviewing firmwide content and communications library to ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels, tailor messaging to fit different audiences as needed, and identify opportunities to refresh content or otherwise improve process around firm communications.
- Developing and upgrading the Firm's external website and intranet.
QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have:
- A record of academic and professional excellence.
- At least six years of relevant experience in communications and brand marketing (finance industry experience not required, though preferred).

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $250,000 to $350,000. In addition to base salary, Viking employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, 100% coverage of medical and dental premiums, and paid lunches. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be individually determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, and other qualifications.
