Director of Cost Accounting
: Job Details :

Marcum Search is seeking a well versed, hands on Director of Cost Accounting for our large manufacturing client located on Long Island.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and controlling all facets of standard costing including analysis of gross margins.
• Budget to actual analysis with variance research.
• Develop costing for new products
• Inventory responsibilities including maintaining reserves, reporting and analyzing inventory levels, targeting ideal inventory levels to maximize working capital.
• Work closely with supply chain and sales department.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Accounting; Masters degree a plus
• 10+ years of financial / accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
• 3+ years of Managerial experience a must; team is located in various locations within Long Island as well as other states

*** Salary Range: $150k-$170k, depending on experience***
