What to Expect

The Analytics & Strategy team's mission is to help all departments with making decisiosn with a data driven business approach and help accelerate the SWTHZ product to an integrative health-tech experience. This newly designed team is responsible for overseeing all things data in relation: revenue and cost key performance indicators, data visualization, the member experience, integrative health-tech, and more.

You will report into the COO, and work closely with all department leaders, franchisees, vendors, and C-Suite.

You have an expert-level understanding of modern data stacks and techniques that drive business process automation, support revenue growth, and optimize processes. Additionally, you are a natural leader who enjoys leading projects and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy and Leadership: Develop and oversee data strategy, tech stack, architecture, engineering, governance, and visualization.
  • KPI Development and Maintenance: Build and maintain dashboards to monitor essential business KPIs, such as customer acquisition, retention, operational efficiency, and marketing performance.
  • Integrative Health-Tech Integration: Lead the data integration aspects of SWTHZ's member experience.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with all departments, including construction, to align technology requirements with business needs.
  • Finance and Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support finance and accounting teams with data-driven analysis and insights as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead internal data teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors for large-scale data projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Project Management: Apply project management best practices to ensure timely and successful completion of data initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and optimize databases to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau for real-time business intelligence.
  • Translate complex business problems into data engineering and analysis projects.
  • Supervise third-party developers to maintain complex pipelines and databases, clean data, and build models.
  • Develop predictive models for performance marketing to optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Validate and implement data models in production, providing visualization and business intelligence to field leaders.
  • Act as the primary liaison with software providers and integrate API data sources to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, including the C-Suite, private equity partners, board of advisors, and potential acquisitions to align data insights with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical skills in building dynamic dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau
  • MS degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, business analytics, statistics).
  • Proven experience in extracting data insights and managing databases, with a focus on business analytics.
  • Expert-level skills in SQL and Python, especially within standard data science libraries and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data wrangling and analyzing large datasets in both structured and unstructured formats.
  • Strong experience with building and managing APIs for data sources.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to apply data science skills to strategic decisions.
  • Experience in project management practices, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus.
