Job Title: Director of DistributionJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Distribution to ensure that all facilities are fully operational and meet the needs of the business. This role involves supervising daily warehouse activities, maintaining best practices in supply chain, and leading the execution of supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate will continually improve the patient and employee experience through process improvements, training, and integration with 3rd party vendors.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure all facilities are fully operational and meet business needs.
+ Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, and floor productivity.
+ Maintain ongoing operational stability of the workforce, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
+ Evaluate industry and segment leaders to identify emerging trends and maintain best practices in the supply chain.
+ Lead execution of supply chain strategies, developing scalable processes that meet financial, cost, quality, safety, staffing, and service level objectives.
+ Design, implement, and be accountable for key performance indicators, metrics, goal setting, scorecards, and communication processes.
+ Manage P&L items related to distribution and participate in the annual planning processes in relation to P&L responsibilities.
+ Develop a strategy to support growth while ensuring assets and workforce capacity meet business demand.
+ Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
+ Stay up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
+ Track all related distribution/fulfillment costs to meet assigned budgets.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on supply chain management, operations, or distribution.
+ Associates degree or higher in logistics or supply chain management.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within challenging timeframes.
+ Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and oversight of external suppliers and partners.
+ Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
+ Track record of delivering innovative, high-quality operational and technology solutions on-time and on-budget.
+ Proficiency with warehouse technology, procedures, and policies.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
+ Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to live/relocate near Asheville, NC.
