What Will You Get To Do:
- Drive the culture and accountability for daily customer picking, staging and delivery
- Hold teams accountable to Safety Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) methodology
- Manage relationships with third party lease tenants in the Distribution center
- Drive profitability, pick rates, and all customer satisfaction metrics and KPI's
- Determine best layout of the facility for most efficient operation with respect to the 7 wastes of Lean
- Continuous improvement leader for distribution and freight, driving cost and waste out of process
- Participate in annual budget process and monitors and analyzes monthly budget performance
- Create, maintain and ensure compliance of freight and other service policies
What Will You Bring:
- 10 years of experience in distribution operations within a multi-site/national footprint, 3 years of managerial experience
- Proven track record in handling warehouse set up projects, delivery metrics and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience with ERP and WMS systems
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
