Full Time Director of Education - Early Childhood Education - 1255 A growing company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Education to oversee the day-to-day operations of their preschool program, aftercare, and Sunday programs. This role is integral to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that caters to the diverse learning needs of all children. Responsibilities Include:Administrative and Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the preschool, including staff supervision and supply management.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and compliant with all state regulations.
- Stay informed on changes in early childhood education regulations and best practices.
Enrollment and Public Relations:
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and grow enrollment.
- Conduct school tours, handle parent inquiries, and manage tuition payments and enrollment processes.
- Foster a positive image of the school within the community.
Policy and Compliance:
- Establish and communicate policies to staff and parents, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the preschool and school administration.
Educational and Staff Management:
- Oversee curriculum implementation and classroom management.
- Conduct regular meetings with parents and staff to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Recruit, evaluate, and support teaching staff, ensuring consistent application of discipline policies.
- Collaborate with teachers to address behavioral and learning issues.
After-School/Sunday Programs Responsibilities:Program Development:
- Develop engaging and age-appropriate programs for different age groups.
- Incorporate best practices in child development to design innovative activities.
Planning and Organization:
- Create balanced program schedules and coordinate necessary resources for each session.
- Maintain detailed records of program plans and participant feedback.
Execution and Supervision:
- Oversee program implementation, providing guidance and support to staff.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Collect and analyze feedback to assess program effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Stay updated on trends in youth education to enhance program offerings.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Experience in preschool administration and supervision is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
