JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW Crete United is helping companies build for a sustainable future by implementing energy services designed to mitigate financial risks and protect their businesses from volatile energy prices. Energy Procurement is a core necessity across deregulated energy markets.We are looking for an individual with analytical rigor and strategic thinking to play a key role in supporting clients and business partners through business optimization, financial analysis, and reporting. Our energy procurement team is expanding and looking to add a Director of Energy Procurement based in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in energy structuring/pricing experience and possess dynamic leadership skills. JOB DUTIES
- Support energy procurement-related deliverables i.e., sourcing supplier pricing, and development/structuring of proposals.
- Client engagement to determine, recommend options, and implement risk management strategies and routine reporting.
- Collaboration with Business Development to create Budgetary Proposals and Financial Modeling Support to aid new business, upsell opportunities and deliver value to existing customers.
- Accompany Business Development as Subject Matter Expert - Energy Procurement role in client presentations and taking a leadership role to foster new/renewal business.
- Understand all financial markets (debt, credit, private equity, etc.) and how ProStar can utilize those to drive business results
- Develop and present applicable industry related company communication and training initiatives
- Determining client blended rates for efficiency solutions proposals, and calculating ROI analysis
- Client Analytics
- Creating actionable data through tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Energy Procurement database support and maintenance
- Maintaining Trade Partner relationships with energy suppliers & finance partners
- Efficiency Finance Support
- Lead, manage, and direct team members duties and growth initiatives for Procurement team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in deregulated energy markets.
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and Salesforce
- Proven experience of achieving goals both as an individual and with a team.
- Demonstrate strong organization and communication (written and verbal) skills coupled with a team-oriented, positive approach
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and be detail oriented
- Self-starter
