The Director of Engineering and Tech Ops Support is responsible for leading a team to provide supporting infrastructure solutions to the engineering and tech ops teams within our critical lines of business at MKS Instruments (MKS). These lines of business include our Materials Solutions Division (MSD), Vacuum Services Division (VSD), and our Photonics Solutions Division (PSD) specifically. This role will ensuring the development and continuous improvement of the infrastructure to support the unique requirements of these groups while leading both direct and matrixed resources to solution and deploy of roadmaps to achieve business objectives. This position currently reports to the VP of IT Infrastructure.
You will be accountable for business results primarily achieved through the work of others. Manages staff, sets standards and direction, and deploys resources. Has responsibility for employee development, performance reviews, pay reviews, and staffing decisions. Also accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $185k - $200K per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable]. Benefits: MKS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage (medical, dental and vision), 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, 12 paid holidays, sick time, 15 paid vacation days, [6 weeks fully paid] parental leave, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement [and for participation in any stock programs, signing bonus, etc.].This position is Hybrid and must be within drivable distance to one of our locations in Andover MA, Austin TX, Beaverton OR, Broomfield CO, Irvine CA, Rochester NY, Milipitas CA.
Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
