DEPARTMENT: Enrollment Services JOB TITLE: Director of Enrollment Services CLASSIFICATION: Exempt REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer (COO) JOB GOAL: The Director of Enrollment Services provides leadership and strategic direction for the operations and activities of PA Cyber's enrollment function. These functions include but are not limited to the following: facilitates enrollment functions for the school, arrange for recruiting opportunities, training staff on enrollment, transition, and retention processes. This position is responsible for oversite of school-wide Enrollment Services staff. This position will work closely with marketing and other departments to ensure quality customer-oriented services comply with PA Cyber policies, PDE guidelines, relevant Pennsylvania school code, and cyber charter school laws. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Degree(s) in Public Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field • Minimum 7 years of combined experience in college or K-12 school enrollment management, registration, recruitment, and relevant program management and marketing with at least three years of direct management, direct supervision of employees, or administration roles. • Education K-12 or college experience is a plus • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must possess excellent leadership skills and professional judgment • Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee and direct the activities of school-wide enrollment function and enrollment services staff by providing vision, objectives, and expectations of work performance. • Resolve day-to day operational challenges and obstacles that impact productivity or workflow • Monitor and evaluate employee performance through regular feedback, coaching, and annual performance management evaluation • Address performance issues promptly by implementing expectation conversations, performance improvement plans or disciplinary actions as necessary • Follow and enforce school policy, procedures, and work rules • Report and document any incidents, accidents, or policy violations in a timely and thorough manner • Assist in hiring, training, and disciplining of direct/indirect report staff • Work on-site at the location designated as PA Cyber's main office • Develops and maintains a strategic plan for enrollment services with a genuine commitment to student success, growing enrollment, student retention and supporting diversity. • Investigates and develops ways to meet enrollment goals and improve services to prospective families • Serves as the liaison between enrollment services, academic program personnel, and other departments to stay current on school programs and offerings • Produces and distributes regular progress reports on enrollment goals • Prepares and manages the departmental budget, monitoring all expenditures to assure compliance with the policies of school. • Fosters a positive work culture that encourages collaboration, creativity, and accountability • Fosters and supports the ongoing development of staff by providing orientation, training, performance coaching, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. • Plans, manage, monitor, and controls department budget consistent with achieving school and department goals and objectives and takes responsibility for ensuring maximum value for expenditure. • Protects the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and uses discretion in sharing such information within the legal confines. • Demonstrated professional behavior, including discretion, good judgment and integrity • Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently • Must be able to travel frequently • Must be able to work extended hours as needed or requested • Must attend regular board meetings • Perform any additional duties deemed necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization by the Chief Operations Officer (COO) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
