They are seeking a visionary Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to lead their EHS programs, ensuring compliance, cultivating a safety-first culture, and driving continuous improvement.

Position Summary:

The Director of EHS will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's environmental, health, and safety strategy. This leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, mitigate risks, and foster a proactive approach to EHS across multiple facilities. This is a critical role within our organization, requiring strategic vision, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Conduct audits, manage incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and reduce environmental impact.
• Build and lead a high-performing EHS team.
• Develop EHS training programs and cultivate a culture of safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of EHS experience, including 5+ in a leadership role (automotive/manufacturing preferred).
• Expertise in OSHA/EPA regulations; ISO 14001/45001 experience a plus.
• Proven success managing multi-site EHS programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
