We are seeking a dynamic leader to grow our New Equipment Sales business in the Pharma NAM (United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico) region. This role involves managing a high-performance sales team, overseeing key accounts, and driving sales strategy execution. The ideal candidate will own the New Equipment Order Intake (OI) target and work with CTC resources, legal counsel, and GEA officers to align with business goals.
- Lead and grow the New Equipment Sales business for Pharma NAM (United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico by managing the Sales Department, assigning resources to key accounts and territories, and overseeing agents as needed.
- Take full ownership of the New Equipment Order Intake (OI) target, set annually with your line manager.
- Develop and implement the regional NAM sales strategy, driving customer reach and engagement.
- Guide RSMs in deepening customer relationships and understanding of their businesses.
- Collaborate with CTC resources to support Pharma NAM's business development and strategy.
- Align sales approaches with direct manager and global sales leaders in Pharma BU.
- Negotiate and manage Non-disclosure, Master Sales Agreements, and Terms and Conditions for Pharma NAM projects in consultation with legal and GEA officers.
- Play an active role in Pharma NAM's management team, contributing to reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Pharma product lines and applications to identify customer needs.
- Inspire and lead a high-performing team, coaching members to reach personal and team targets.
- Attend customer meetings, both virtual and in-person, to support and provide feedback to team members.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, driving sales and developing tailored strategies.
- Ensure the correct use of sales tools and optimize department procedures.
- Regularly manage and report on sales activities, customer details, and forecasts.
- Travel up to 40% of the time for internal meetings and industry events, including exhibitions and conferences.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a Pharmaceutical or Bio-science related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing sales teams in capital or process equipment manufacturing.
- Proven success in value-based selling, with experience in sales to pharmaceutical manufacturing customers.
- Desirable knowledge of Pharma Oral Solid Dosage and/or Liquid Processing Systems.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, attend internal meetings, and represent GEA at conferences and exhibitions.

Salary: $140k - $150k with a bonus up to 50k
