Full Time Employment

Base Salary: $60,000+

Plus Commission: 2% of Total Food and Beverage Sales on all signed and paid contracts.

Job Description

  • Reply to, manage, and organize all leads to event completion for Shale Hill Events as needed and parties at company owned venues that involve buyouts or parties greater than 20.
  • Reach out to Hudson Valley venues and establish partnerships for events and sales channels for our catering. Site visits required prior to event execution.
  • Assist in detailed Wedding Planning when packages are sold, and Corporate Events with details tracked in Triple Seat and a handoff to staff and relevant execution teams as appropriate.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all leads and sales. Coordinate contracts, payments for all catering events at any of our venues or off-site events.
  • Coordinate details for all contracted events at our related venues, such as rehearsal dinners, brunches, private parties. Coordinate with management in advance for restaurant setup, staffing needs, and closures as needed.
  • Running a team for events at Oz Farm, and off-site venues where we are contracted to provide catering.
  • Working directly with clients and Shale Hill Events Team, day of events to manage and resolve issues and details to ensure best execution.
  • Communicate with Captains and Management team that is executing events to ensure relevant event details are conveyed. This includes appropriate wrap up and clean-up of offsite events.
  • Schedule, attend, and sell our offerings at all tastings. Schedule and coordinate with culinary team for details. Upsell packages to our guests that will enhance their events and bring value to their experience while driving revenue for Shale Hill Catering.
  • Coordination and communication of details in plenty of time to procure supplies for food and bar packages with Chef and our Beverage team.
  • Work with SHHG Office to establish costing on any new packages to sell or add-ons.
  • Arranging the rental and return of necessary equipment, small wares, and responsibly managing the communication of payments required with SHHG accounting
  • Utilize and maintain Triple seat functionality for the group ensuring SHHG contracts and any forthcoming updates are implemented as required
  • Report on site as needed basis for meetings with the Management team
  • Become a driving force of sales for Shale Hill Events and work to meet Yearly sales targets as set in conjunction with Management and Partners.
