You will be responsible for:
- Conducting venue tours and effectively showcasing the unique features and vision of the Energy Innovation Center
- Managing client inquiries and guiding them through the event planning and booking process including contracts and invoicing
- Consulting with clients and event planners regarding set-up, technology needs, catering, linens and a wide variety of other vendors
- Designing seating and set-up plans and communicating plans with the facilities staff
- Overseeing event setups including tech and ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive
- Coordinating with planners, caterers, servers, bartenders and other event staff to ensure seamless service
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the event, anticipating needs and problem solving
- Collaborating with the in-house team to ensure every event detail is executed flawlessly from set-up, furniture flip to clean-up
- Creating social media content for the EIC Events pages
- Advertising and marketing the event space
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Desire to work in a collaborative field where you rely on others and others rely on you
- Ability to conduct tours professionally and confidently and bring the potential of this special venue to life
- Willingness to respond promptly and professionally to all email and phone inquiries
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
- Passion for delivering top-notch customer service and creating memorable events
- Confidence managing tech A/V set-ups, using event planning software, creating invoices and managing the contracting process
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by event schedules
