Position Overview:

Are you ready to lead extraordinary events that create lasting memories? Grasslands Club is seeking a Director of Events to oversee, design, and execute a variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and a talent for turning ideas into unforgettable experiences.

Position Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution

· Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring every detail exceeds client expectations.

· Collaborate with clients to customize events, from concept to completion.

· Coordinate seamlessly with culinary, audiovisual, operations, and marketing teams.

Marketing and Sales

· Develop and implement a marketing strategy that showcases our world-class facilities.

· Use social media and content marketing to engage the community and highlight events.

· Build relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and wedding professionals to generate referrals and repeat business.

· Attend networking events and trade shows to position Grasslands Club as a top-tier event destination.

Financial Management

· Create and manage event budgets to optimize profitability while delivering exceptional quality.

· Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure competitive rates.

· Maximize revenue opportunities through strategic pricing and upselling.

Strategic Innovation

· Stay ahead of trends in event design and technology to continuously enhance our offerings.

· Propose and implement new event concepts and services to differentiate us from competitors.

Team Leadership and Client Relations

· Mentor and lead a high-performing events team.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and cultivating repeat business.

· Gather post-event feedback to refine and improve future experiences.

What We're Looking For?

· A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

· 5-7 years of experience in event planning, sales, or management (preferred).

· Creative and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

· Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

· Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and reporting.

· Proficiency with event management software and CRM tools.

· A passion for hospitality and delivering top-tier guest experiences.
