Job Description Summary
Under the general administrative direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and direct support of the System Chief Facilities Officer, provides leadership and direct oversight for Facilities Operations and Maintenance staff, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and all other equipment are functioning effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with all life safety, fire safety, CMS, DHEC, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements and codes. This role ensures all corrective and preventative maintenance are completed accurately and in a timely fashion, and that all related documentation is maintained in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. This position responds to and addresses all utilities and life safety disruptions in a timely manner and communicating all outages and/or repair delays in a professional, timely manner to the affected areas and organizational leadership.

Job Description

Experience- Seven years + of healthcare engineering/maintenance experience, five of which supervisory level or higher equivalent work experience. Familiarity with Emergency Management Accreditation Program Standards. Computer skills proficiency in MS office applications; Word, Powe Point, and Excel.
Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Engineering Technology required, or equivalent work experience of ten + years directly related management/supervisory experience in healthcare maintenance and an Associates Degree in Applied Science.
