The University at Buffalo School of Nursing (SON) invites applicants for a clinical faculty position to lead the development and implementation of Faculty Practice Initiatives. The Director of Faculty Practice Initiatives will explore and develop opportunities for community-based clinical practice and partnerships that will meet the tripartite mission of the School of Nursing to include practice, education and research. The Directors role is a community facing position that requires community engagement and development of relationships with healthcare providers and interprofessional teams to meet the healthcare needs of underserved populations in the Western New York State Region. The Director is expected to catalyze the development and implementation of a model that includes the social determinants of health.
